Samait SOK


Hello everyone!
 
I am Sok Samait from the kingdom of wonder, Cambodia (also known as Kampuchea or Khmer) is located in mainland Southeast Asia. The Kingdom of Cambodia possesses historical, cultural, natural, and re-creative tourist sites of 1,312. Cambodia has around 4,000 temples of which 200 temples are located in Siem Reap Province. This is where the glorious 12th Century Angkor Wat temple, the largest religious building in the world, is located. Situated on the northern bank of the Tonle Sap Great Lake, this mesmerizing eighth wonder of the world can be easily accessed by plane, land, and boat.
 

I have done my Bachelor in English Literature and Education in 2006 and Bachelor of Management in 2012 in Cambodia. I had participated in the different short courses in Thailand in agribusiness within the Mekong country members, in Laos on project management and in Philippines on Aid effectiveness.
 

I have been working for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD), Council of Ministers, Cambodia since 2005. Now, I’m a chief of Personnel and Wage Office of Department of Administration and Finance, assistant to the Secretary General of Council for Agricultural and Rural Development and I also assistant to head of secretariat of Food Security and Nutrition.
 

Last but not least, I strongly believe that my present persuading in Master degree in Agriculture and Rural Development in Hankyong National University, South Korea under the auspicious of KOICA would be a precious stone in my future career endeavor to contribute to my beloved country, the Kingdom of Wonder, Cambodia in Agriculture and Rural Development and Socio-Economic Development.
 
Finally, on behalf of a Buddhism country, I myself would like to wish you all in the term of togetherness in the 3rd batch of KOICA MSC scholarship successful with our study in South Korea and go back our beloved home country with happiness and good rememories as to be togetherness forever.
